NYU Ph.D. alumna and current Google Software Engineer Adriana Lopez-Alt will shed some light on both her experiences as a Ph.D. candidate at NYU and working in the industry. Find out how to find a mentor, an advisor/sponsor, an internship, a job, and more about grad school!

Adriana Lopez-Alt is a software engineer at Google, where she works on production security, ensuring that communication between Google servers is secure. She holds a B.S. in Math from MIT and a Ph.D. in Cryptography from NYU. When she's not fighting off hackers, Adriana enjoys reading, climbing, hiking, and playing with her two rascal dogs.

Adriana spoke at Google Symposium for Women in Computing, and has generously volunteered her time to come and talk at NYU.
