Our kickoff meeting was a great success! It was standing room only, with about 35 attendees. Paul Gazzillo, the treasurer of MACS, won Techie Pictionary, closely followed by the ACM officers Dan and Max. We are pleased to announce that Julia Grunewald accepted the position of Undergrad Chair. Thanks to everyone who attended, and thanks to the officers for their help.

Come to WinC's Mentoring Hours to talk to WinC officers and peers about school, work, or just to take a breather. Mentoring Hours are manned (or womanned) by WinC officers and are designed to provide support for "fellow" women in the department.

Following the success of last year's outreach event, WinC will again host a day-long program of speakers, presentations, and demos for NYC-area high school girls interested in technology and engineering (9th and 10th grades).
